Intro

Hello, my name Is Rodgers Otieno, I am a Full-Stack Web Developer with technical skills arming me with the ability to deliver appropriate technology solutions for responsive web design. My technical skills in Frontend are HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, jest, React testing Library, Styled Components. And for Backend is Node.js, Express, Knex, SQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Python, Supertest. Furthermore, throughout the many projects I have worked on, I have gained comprehensive knowledge of platform development, agile methodologies, cloud services, and front end and server-side application development. Finally, I believe the best way to describe me professionally is as a change agent with a unique mix of high-level communication and time management skills and deep technical expertise.

About Me

I was born in Kenya which is a small country on the east coast of Africa, we moved to the US when I was in middle school, even though English is an official language in Kenya it was still very difficult to assimilate to a new culture especially when kids make fun of your accent and name. But I didn't let that stop me I was lucky enough to attend a magnet high school that had programs focused towards on aviation and computer science which drew and nurtured my intrest in aviation and programming which ultimetly shaped who I am today.
